Business Support Admin Apprentice

We are currently offering an excellent opportunity for a Business Administration Apprentice to join our team in Southampton. This position will provide administrative support to a diverse group of managers and directors, allowing them to work on a variety of projects have a daily varied workload. We are searching for a proactive, organised, and enthusiastic individual with some professional experience, preferably in administration or the public sector.

About The Role: How will you contribute:

• Provide administrative support for the Executive Assistant, Director of People, Operations and Engineering, IT, HSE & UK Commercial and Supply Chain Director and other senior managers as required.
• Assist the Executive Assistant with booking travel arrangements/accommodation in line with company policies for employees and visitors.
• Outlook diary management
• Document preparation for managers.
• Notetaking in meetings when required.
• Assist with the booking and organization of corporate events and team events.
• Other ad hoc administrative duties and general admin support
• Complete a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship, attending college when required and completing all coursework/exams on time.

What will you Bring: Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 GCSE passes at Grades A-C, including Maths and English
• To have proven experience within a similar role or a public facing position is preferred.
• Comfortable using Microsoft applications including word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Good communication skills both written and oral
• Proactive approach to their work and role
• Able to work on one's own initiative.

NOTE: All our roles are subject to the below:

• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Ability to travel to our other port when necessary.
• We may close our roles early, depending on the number of applications
  received.
• A full valid UK driving licence or appropriate international licence allowing
  you to drive on UK roads.(Or to pass by the end of the apprenticeship)
