Key Account / Operations Executive - Freight Forwarding

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Are you a skilled freight forwarding professional with a passion for building strong client relationships? Our client, a well-established international freight forwarder, is seeking a Key Account & Operations Executive to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with general freight forwarding experience who enjoys both the operational and customer-facing sides of logistics. You'll play a key role in supporting a close-knit operations team while managing key client accounts to ensure service excellence and continued business growth.

• Manage day-to-day operations across Air, Ocean, and Road freight.
• Serve as a primary contact for key customer accounts - ensuring smooth communication and service delivery.
• Support the operations team (currently 3 Operators) to ensure efficiency and high performance.
• Coordinate shipments from booking to final delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with carriers, overseas agents, and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain service standards.
• Contribute to improving operational processes and client satisfaction.

• Proven experience in freight forwarding operations (Air, Sea, and/or Road).
• Strong customer service and key account management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• IT proficient and confident using freight management systems.
