Clerk to Governors

Salary NJC Scale 7, actual salary £4,802.49 per annum depending on experience

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and looking for a flexible part-time role in education? Queensgate Foundation Primary School is seeking a reliable and professional Clerk to the Governors to support the work of our Governing Board.

• Provide administrative and organisational support to the Governing Board
• Prepare agendas and take accurate, timely minutes at all governors' meetings
• Advise governors on procedural and legislative matters
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with relevant governance regulations
• Manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism

• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Can work independently and meet deadlines
• Understands school governance and legislation
• Is confident with IT and document management tools (e.g. MS Google, email, Teams/Zoom)

Meetings usually take place in the afternoon at the end of the school day.
