As a Senior Solution Consultant at Neptune, you'll play a crucial role in this exciting expansion, acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert, guiding customers on their digital transformation journeys. You'll showcase the value of our platform, working closely with sales teams and customers to design solutions that address real world challenges and deliver meaningful outcomes.
Location
This role can be based in either the United Kingdom or France.
- For candidates based in the UK, this is a hybrid position, combining home working with regular collaboration at our London (Bishopsgate) office.
- For candidates based in France, this is a fully remote position.
You must be fluent in both French and English.
What You'll Do
- Customer collaboration: Work closely with account teams and customers, leveraging your technical expertise, industry knowledge, and solution-oriented mindset to design innovative solutions that deliver tangible value. This will include customer travel to build relationships, lead engagements, and deliver impactful presentations and workshops.
- Solution discovery and design: Lead technical and solution discovery workstreams, assess customer needs, define scope and success criteria, and clearly articulate the value proposition of Neptune's platform.
- Customer engagement delivery: Develop and deliver engaging presentations, demos, proofs of value, and discovery workshops, tailoring your approach to specific customer needs and personas.
- Consultative partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through their digital transformation journeys and providing expert advice on implementation and optimisation.
- Technical expertise: Build and maintain deep subject matter expertise across Neptune's platform and solutions, staying current with the latest features and capabilities.
- Sales enablement: Produce high-quality documentation, presentations, and resources to support sales efforts and empower the go to market teams.
- Customer advocacy: Gather and synthesize customer feedback, advocate for customer needs, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive innovation.
- Evangelism and thought leadership: Represent Neptune at marketing events, engage with our developer communities, and deliver training and enablement sessions for partners and customers.
Your profile
- Strong technical foundation: A solid technical aptitude, with the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences in a clear and engaging way.
- Proven presales expertise: 3-5 years of experience in a solution consulting, presales, or technical sales role, ideally within the enterprise software or SAP ecosystem, with demonstratable success supporting complex sales cycles and influencing technical and business stakeholders.
- Sales methodologies: Foundational knowledge of MEDDPPIC, Value-Based Selling, or Command of the Message is a plus. You'll apply these approaches to help drive business growth as part of our go to market team.
- SAP knowledge: A background or working knowledge of SAP is highly desirable. A deep technical understanding is advantageous, but practical experience using SAP applications in a business context is also valuable.
- Technical acumen: Strong understanding of technology, particularly in areas such as process improvement, integration, automation, and UI/UX.
- Solution-oriented mindset: A creative problem-solver focused on delivering outcomes that address customer needs and create business value.
- Value articulation: Ability to translate technical features into clear, tangible business benefits and communicate Neptune's value proposition effectively.
- Compelling communication: Skilled at crafting narratives and delivering engaging presentations, demos, and voice overs. Strong consultative skills and sound judgment, actively listening, asking insightful questions, and offering tailored solutions.
- Collaboration and relationships: Proven ability to build trust-based relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Proactive and results-driven: Self motivated, organised, and able to work independently while delivering high quality results.
- Platform expertise: Understanding of Neptune's platform or the ability to rapidly learn and master new technologies.
