The Opportunity

We're looking for an Associate Marketing Director ready to drive measurable growth and acquisition for Freedman.

You'll design and execute multi-channel marketing strategies, optimise the full funnel, and amplify the Freedman brand through high-performing campaigns that connect with senior marketing decision-makers across technology and adjacent sectors.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who blends analytical rigour with creative vision - a strategic thinker who thrives on impact and innovation.


What You'll Do

Drive Growth and Acquisition (60%)

  • Develop and execute comprehensive multi-channel acquisition campaigns that drive our ICP to Freedman (paid search, paid social, partnerships, affiliates, events)
  • Continuously optimise funnel performance using analytics, A/B testing, and automation.
  • Build and iterate on campaigns, content, nurture flows, and conversion journeys aligned to campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales to ensure seamless lead management, conversion tracking
  • Drive strategic partnerships and innovative acquisition initiatives that create competitive advantage.


Elevate the Freedman Brand (20%)

  • Increase brand awareness & salience with brand-led campaigns & content
  • Key driver of Freedman's thought leadership and visibility
  • Produce & manage brand assets (artwork & image library upkeep)
  • Manage and develop content calendar across channels for always on content as well as specific to our ICP
  • Copywriting across all channels
  • Guardianship of tone of voice
  • Manage social media channel content and community management


Optimise Performance

  • Own HubSpot reporting, dashboards, and tracking.
  • Analyse campaign data to inform strategy and budget allocation.
  • Build scalable, data-led acquisition programmes with clear ROI measures.


Champion Experimentation

  • Foster a test-and-learn culture across digital and offline channels.
  • Launch referral, retargeting, and partnership initiatives.
  • Identify and trial emerging channels, technologies, and marketing approaches.


What Success Looks Like

Year 1:

  • Significant increase in qualified lead volume
  • Significant increase in MQLs
  • Development of strong nurture campaigns that convert MQLs into SQLs
  • Conversion rates across the top of the funnel are measured and enhanced.
  • Established acquisition reporting framework and testing roadmap.
  • Marketing calendar across always on and ICP acquisition campaigns - planned activities and ad hoc activities
  • Fully optimised multi-channel acquisition engine delivering predictable growth.
  • Strong collaboration with the sales team, development of impactful creative content to support marketing tactics/campaigns


About You

You're both strategic and hands-on - data-driven, creative, and relentlessly curious. You bring energy, initiative, and a passion for driving measurable results.


Experience

  • 5-7 years in marketing, with a proven record in customer acquisition and performance marketing.
  • Deep experience with LinkedIn, search, and marketing automation (HubSpot ideal)
  • Proven ability to scale acquisition programmes and deliver measurable impact.

  • PR or comms experience.
