Software Engineer

Please note that this position is located in Bristol (3 days a week from our Bristol office and 2 days working from home)

Please kindly note that unfortunately we can't offer visa support for this role, and therefore the current right to work in the UK is required.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Design and build scalable web solutions, primarily using Vue.js, with some work in React.
• Work with other engineering teams and stakeholders to create a great user experience.
• Focus on accessibility, performance, and scalability in all your work.
• Take full ownership of your code, from writing it to maintaining it in a shared on-call rotation.
• Mentor other engineers on the team.

• Vue.js (ideally v3) and its related tools.
• JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frameworks like Webpack, Vite, and TypeScript.
• Unit testing with tools like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Building responsive UIs that meet WCAG accessibility standards.
• Designing and debugging large, complex applications.
• Working independently and taking ownership of projects.
• Collaboration and communication skills, especially in a distributed environment.
• Experience with monorepos and micro-frontend architecture would be a non mandatory plus
