To be successful in this role, you should have experience of programming and of working on technical projects, solving complex problems. You will be a collaborative worker, able to work under pressure with a passion for learning and a desire to learn new skills. The role has line management responsibilities for the DevOps Engineer post, we do not expect applicants to have line management experience and full support and training will be provided. This provides an opportunity to gain line management experience supporting performance, welfare, and CPD, whilst ensuring delivery of projects to time and specification. This role is expected to be largely hybrid working, with time split between SEROCU offices, occasional working from home, and travelling to different locations across the national network for business purposes. Therefore, the successful candidate will require a full UK driving licence. Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance to us and therefore it will be necessary to pass and maintain vetting level DV together with a number of enhanced security checks. In order to achieve this, you must be a British National andhave resided in the UK for the past ten years.
