Job Description
Hours are 8.30 to 5.30 Monday to Friday.
No weekend working.
Redburn Bosch Car Service is a family ran business. We are also an accredited AA and RAC repair centre.
Due to the acqusition of a second site, we are looking to recruit a number of technicians to add to our 7 strong Technician team.
Salary based on experience with optional overtime available.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs according to established guidelines and procedures
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with vehicles
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles
- Use power tools and hand tools to repair and maintain vehicles
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and questions
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Experience with vehicle repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for vehicle repairs
- Welding experience is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
