Polisher

The Best Connection are looking for a Polisher to join our leading manufacturing client in Wallingford

Location: Wallingford

Shift times:

• 7.00 am - 15.00 pm
• Monday - Friday

Pay Rate:

• 27K yearly
• Overtime available
• X1.3 Monday to Friday
• X1.5 Saturday

Responsibilities of the Polisher:

• Finishing of GRP mouldings
• Trimming, preparation, polishing, gel coat repairs and assembly of moulded components.
• Polishing of gel coat surfaces
• Checking and identifying defects requiring rework
• Sanding and finishing of cut edges using abrasive papers

Qualifications and experience required:

• Previous experience of finishing GRP or paint finishes/ detailing
• Able to work independently or in part of a team
• Previous experience of working within the marine industry or similar is advantageous but not essential

This is a permanent role
