Job Description

Artemis Executive Search are partnering with a leading property investment and hotelier group as they embark on an exciting phase of growth. With a five-year strategic plan to nearly double their current portfolio through targeted acquisitions, development projects, and operational optimisation, the business is now seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the leadership team and help deliver this ambitious agenda.

The Role

The CFO will be a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board, driving financial performance, capital strategy, and value creation across a growing and diversified portfolio. This is a pivotal role for a commercially astute finance leader who can combine strategic foresight with hands on execution in a fast moving, asset backed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial strategy, reporting, and governance across the group, ensuring robust control and transparency.

  • Develop and execute funding strategies to support portfolio expansion - including bank financing, equity partnerships, and JV structures.

  • Provide commercial and financial insight into acquisitions, developments, and asset management decisions.

  • Drive performance management and operational efficiency across hospitality and property divisions.

  • Strengthen financial systems, processes, and management information to support scaling ambitions.

  • Partner with the CEO, Board, and investors to deliver growth, profitability, and long term value creation.

  • Lead and develop a capable finance team aligned to strategic and operational goals.

Candidate Profile
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong technical foundation and commercial mindset.

  • Senior finance leadership experience within property investment, real estate, or hospitality sectors.

  • Proven track record in growth focused, capital intensive, or PE backed environments.

  • Strong understanding of debt and equity funding, M&A, and investment appraisal.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills - confident working with investors, banks, and external partners.

  • A strategic, entrepreneurial leader who thrives in a fast paced and evolving business.
