Job Description

Orthodontist - Southwood Dental (Colonel Talbot, London, ON) Build and grow a specialty program with a strong referral base across 5 clinics.

Start Date: September 11, 2025

Open to New Grads: Yes - Licensed Orthodontists in Ontario or International Orthodontists with Canadian experience considered

Schedule
  • Twice per month to start, growing to weekly

  • Minimum 2 operatories dedicated to ortho days

  • Flexibility to help design and grow the program

Practice & Referral Network
  • Hub at Southwood Dental Colonel Talbot with referrals from 5 additional practices (10 GPs total)

  • Treatment Coordinator + PM team managing referrals, pre-determinations, and consult coordination

Clinical Scope
  • Traditional Orthodontics (brackets/wires)

  • Clear Aligners (Invisalign or equivalent - office will support preferred system)

  • Opportunity to shape ortho protocols, build patient flow, and establish long-term presence

Technology & Support
  • PMS: Tracker iOS, Digital X-rays, Carrier system in place (open to new systems)

  • Dedicated ortho DA being hired (opportunity to help train)

  • Strong admin and clinical support team

Ideal Candidate
  • Licensed Orthodontist (RCDSO) or experienced International Orthodontist

  • Confident in full scope of orthodontics (brackets/wires + clear aligners)

About You
  • Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process

  • Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements

  • Valid CPR certification
