Youth Offending Team Officer
Location: 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London, NW9 4EW
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 6+ months
Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09 00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £ 22.08 per hour

Job Responsibilities

Work with young people who have offended or are at risk of offending.

Develop and implement intervention plans to prevent reoffending.

Collaborate with families, schools, and other agencies to support young people.

Prepare reports and maintain accurate records.

Attend court proceedings as required.
Person Specifications
Must Have
-
Experience working with young people in a similar role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
Nice to Have
-
Relevant qualifications in social work, youth work, or criminal justice.

Experience in case management.

Understanding of local community resources.
