The Hungerford School and Pooles Park (part of the Bridge Trust) requires

An Assistant Headteacher

within mainstream Primary schools

Salary Grade: L6 - L9

Salary Range: £68,361 - £72,858 per annum

32.5 hours per week: Monday - Friday term time only

Permanent Contract

Start Date: January 2026

We are recruiting for:
  • An Assistant headteacher to work across two inclusive mainstream schools, Hungerford and Poole's Park. The Executive Headteacher has overall management of the school and the Head of School is responsible for the day-to-day management and organisation of the school.
  • The post holder will take lead responsibility for two to three key areas of the school's work agreed by the Executive Headteacher.
