Head of Technical - Ilford

Salary: £85,000 to £95,000 + Package DOE

The company is a reputable residential developer who carries out high-end residential developments across London, with upcoming developments confirmed in the pipeline. They are an award-winning construction company who consistently uphold and deliver solid projects on time and to budget.

The company has been around for a number of years and has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of Technical to join them on a permanent basis, overseeing a range of schemes.

• To manage the technical and design element of all projects
• Oversee and manage a design team and consultants.
• Involved in all aspects of design from pre-construction stage working on bids and planning applications, right through to construction, handover.
• Provide necessary input and support to the planning team.
• Maintain and update records of design and take responsibility for checking and issuing design information
• Research, investigate and provide feedback to the business in order to improve the processes of delivering projects

• Extensive residential development experience and design management process.
• Effective and proven negotiator with professional organisations.
• Strong understanding of technical detailing and agreement requirements
• Leadership qualities which encourage staff to work together
• Degree Qualified in a relevant subject
• Highly motivated with strong desire to grow within the business
• Smart, presentable and happy to deal directly with customers
• Punctual, reliable and good practical skills
• Established track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
