Commercial and Residential Property Solicitor

My client is a well established and highly regarded law firm proud of its enviable reputation and high quality advice and service it provides.

Due to expansion, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with 2 to 3 years' experience within Commercial Property to join the team. Candidates with PQE in excess of 3 years are welcome to apply and will also be considered. Equally, candidates with less than 3 years PQE, or experienced Paralegals, will also be considered although sound experience of managing your own commercial property caseload is essential. Experience in Residential Property would also be beneficial although the focus will predominantly be on Commercial Property.

You will be working within a collaborative group of people who value each other s support and input. The team works on some great quality and repeat Commercial Property work, so this is a really great opportunity for someone ambitious to be a part of something progressive.

Secretarial support is provided on a one to one basis as is the opportunity to work on a flexible and hybrid basis although the successful candidate will also be required to work from the office.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Managing a Commercial Property caseload (and ideally Residential Property) including sale, purchase and lease of land and/or property

Property finance and investment

Leasehold management

Drafting, reviewing and negotiation of contracts

Mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and disposals

Liaising with clients including developers, investors, retailers as well as estate agents and all parties involved

Completing tasks and paperwork to deadlines

Dealing with all enquiries regarding transactions

Handling the financial aspects of exchange and completion

Maintaining excellent client relationships

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Have minimum 2 years' PQE in Commercial Conveyancing
• Ideally have experience in Residential Conveyancing but not essential
• Must be a good team player willing to work cooperatively with others.
• Good organisation with strong administration skills.
• Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Have the ability to be highly productive
• Be able to cope with pressure
• Ability to quickly adjust to new systems and work processes

An excellent salary of up to £70,000 is offered by my client for the successful candidate
