The right Farm Trader will have strong relationships with their clients, and a willingness to build new ones across the Southwest.
This position is a field-based role, while being able to work remotely from your home the rest of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new prospective clients across multiple sectors such as seed, grain and fertiliser
- Attend events, trials, conferences and other forums hosted by your employer as well as your clients
- Increase awareness within your client base of other products and services that are available
- Drive new business through warm lead, referrals and previous relationships
Desirable Skillset Includes:
- Experience and knowledge of the agriculture sector
- A client base whom you have built relationships with over time
- Credibility and confidence to build relationships
- Knowledge of fertilizer and crop nutrition
- Full driving licence
