Your new company
You will work for a recognised hospitality business who are looking for a motivated Finance Assistant, focussed on Property & Real Estate.
Your new role
- Processing invoices related to Property & Real Estate elements of the business including store rents & maintenance, service charges, and business rates
Ensuring invoices match lease agreements, service charge statements, and council demands - Preparation and processing of payment runs
- Supporting month end and year end processes including accruals, prepayments
- Investigation and resolution of invoice and payment discrepancies
- Maintaining rates and lease payment schedules
- Cashflow forecasting
- Partnering with various internal and external stakeholders including landlords, managing agents, local councils, property and store operations teams
- Maintaining financial records
- Ensuring UK accounting standards compliance
- Providing support to internal and external audit
What you'll need to succeed
- Recent relevant experience working in a similar Finance Assistant role.
- It is essential that you have strong experience/knowledge working in the property industry, specifically with service charge experience.
- Detail focused and highly motivated.
- Comfortable working across multiple systems including intermediate Excel skills.
- Preference to be working towards or AAT qualified.
