MC Technical Recruitment is currently supporting the search for a Multi Skilled Operator / Site Operator to join the team at a state-of-the-art Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) in Glasgow. This site plays a critical role in reducing landfill waste and generating low-carbon energy, supporting the UK s climate goals.
As a Multi Skilled Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Operating the weighbridge and maintaining accurate records
- Driving forklift trucks across site operations
- Controlling the RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) crane to feed the plant
- Housekeeping and cleaning activities
- Clearing blockages and assisting with routine operational support
- Adhering to strict Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A valid Forklift Truck licence (And/or Shovel licence)
- Previous experience in a production or heavy industrial environment
- Awareness of Health & Safety regulations
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Confidence using computer systems (Microsoft)
