Job Description
6 Mechanical Technicians required ASAP (a further 5 required from November)
Hours: 10 hour days (37.5 core plus overtime)
Job type: Contract
Duration: 12 months initially
Rate: £38.17ph CIS
Essentials:
Candidates must hold a minimum of SC Clearance and be willing to obtain DV Clearance
All applicants must hold an NVQ Level 3 in relevant trade
Must have 2 years nuclear experience within the last 5 years
Candidates will ideally have experience with Swagelok
Use of hand tools for assembly- Essential
Understands and can work to mechanical engineering drawings- Essential
General Workshop equipment such as pedestal grinder, drill, bandsaw- Essential
Welding Gas & Electric ability- Desirable
Pipe Fitting- Swagelok- Desirable
Hours:
9 Day Fortnight
Week 1 = 35 hours Mon - Thursday 07:30 - 16:45 (this includes 30 mins unpaid lunch) = 35 hrs
Friday - off
Week 2 = 40 hours Mon - Thursday 07:30 - 16:45 (this includes 30 mins unpaid lunch) = 35 hrs
Friday 07:30 - 12:30 (no lunch break) = 5hrs
