Teaching Assistant

Furthermore, they always appreciate the input from their community. The Head Teacher is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant for the new academic year. They must be comfortable working with the entire primary age range and have a genuine passion for working with children. The school will support the successful candidate with professional development opportunities and you will become part of a forward-thinking and creative team.

TeacherActive are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate who:

• Will have relevant experience of working with children (minimum of 6 months)
• Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools
• Responsible for working with an individual pupil and small groups
• Will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and be able to react to given solutions with integrity and compassion
• Has the ability to encourage every child to learn and achieve and has enthusiasm, skill and desire to make a difference
• Has a passion to ensure high expectations for all ensuring that they make outstanding progress
• Can plan, prepare and promote constructive play during the lunchtime period
