Location: Blackfriars (Central London) / Canterbury
Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience

With a Central London office located in serviced space in Blackfriars and a project team operating from Canterbury, you ll have the flexibility to base yourself in London while visiting the site when required.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background to take on responsibility across a mix of projects, including:

  • CP7 Minor Works Lot 8 (target cost / cost reimbursable)

  • Standalone piling packages

  • Coastal and sea defence schemes for Tier 1 clients

You ll be reporting to the Commercial Director and expected to manage 2 3 projects or key accounts independently, contributing commercially from tender through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

Typical Quantity Surveying duties will include:

  • Contract administration and commercial management of infrastructure projects

  • Managing target cost and cost reimbursable frameworks

  • Forecasting, cost reporting, and monthly CVRs

  • Subcontractor procurement and account management

  • Supporting KPI reporting and client-facing commercial meetings

  • Liaising with site, project, and client teams

  • Working autonomously while escalating key issues to the Commercial Director

Experience Required

  • Background in infrastructure ideally in rail (Network Rail) or civils

  • Understanding of target cost / NEC contracts

  • Capable of working with minimal supervision

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
