Senior Engineer

Senior Engineer Permanent Electrical / Software / Controls - Staffordshire - £60-65k + hybrid working + bonus + 30 days annual leave + BUPA

Must have a British passport for security clearance

Ambitious, growing company is recruiting for a Degree qualified Senior Engineer with experience of leading Engineers, who is ready to make the step up to Principal Engineer,

Key aspects of the Senior / Principal Engineer role include

• Take charge of and lead project teams delivering electrical control systems, industrial software and electrical safety systems to customers in the defence sector
• Have first class stakeholder engagement skills
• Senior / Principal Engineer will initiate, oversee and lead all engineering activities on a project or group of projects
• Knowledge of working to ISO 9001 standards is key
• Oversee the activities of the team and help overcome problems by providing guidance
• A Senior / Principal Engineer working towards Chartered status will be supported and mentored
• You ll need to be a British passport holder and have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years, as you ll be put through security clearance if you haven t already got it.
• You ll need to comfortable working the defence sector
• The management team encourages a sensible work-life balance which encourages everyone to leave the office by 4.30pm daily and have 30 days holiday per year, as well as the statutory Bank Holidays
• Role will initially be based from the Stafford office (3 days per week) and home (2 days per week) with occasional day trips to customer sites

Senior / Principal Engineer package -

• Up to 10% bonus
• 30 days holiday + statutory days
• Private healthcare includes family members after 6 months service
• 6% pension contribution
• 2 days a week from home (everyone works from home on Mondays and Fridays)

The clients' offices are easily commutable from Stoke, Stafford, Cannock, Lichfield, Telford, Uttoxeter, Stone.
