Contracts Manager

We are currently looking for a dynamic Contracts Manager with a Social Housing background to join our ever-growing team here at Connolly!

We have several exciting opportunities to join our North West team. The scope of works we are currently undertaking includes kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, re-wires, window and door replacements, EWI works, external works, and social housing decarbonisation schemes - previous experience in this type of work is essential.

What you will be responsible for

• Managing operational site teams
• Implementing health & safety procedures and practices to industry-leading standards
• Managing delivery in accordance with all regulations, prescribed recommendations, contract documentation, and standards
• Managing and maintaining programme and reporting any departures
• Participating in activities and initiatives to improve working practices
• Adherence to company policies and procedures while promoting Connolly Ltd values
• Arranging and attending internal and external pre-start meetings
• Liaison and communication with all internal Connolly SLT team members
• Efficient allocation and management of project resources including direct labour, supplied materials, plant, fleet requirements, sub-contractors, supply chain, and free issue materials
• Review and approval (in conjunction with the Quantity Surveyor) of sub-contractor valuations
• Relationship management with peers, clients, design teams, and consultants
• Arranging and attending contract close-out meetings, chairing if required

What we'd like from you

• Proven track record of contract management
• Experience in managing multiple social housing projects from start to finish
• In-depth knowledge of construction standards, legislation, and quality delivery
• Strong planning, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• First Aid at Work certification
• Asbestos Awareness (desirable but not essential)
