What you will do as our Senior Installation Engineer: Lead the installation and commissioning of MSite systems across customer sites, ensuring all work meets high technical and professional standards. Provide expert-level support and maintenance for existing MSITE installations, acting as a technical escalation point for complex issues. Deliver subject matter expertise and technical leadership to both external clients and internal teams. Mentor and support junior engineers/apprentices, contributing to skills development and operational excellence. Ensure quality assurance and adherence to company installation standards, technical drawings, and health & safety procedures. Provide specialist input into the design and continuous improvement of technical architecture and system documentation. Maintain a strong customer focus with a commitment to achieving outstanding satisfaction scores and long-term client relationships. Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure smooth handover, sign-off, and post-installation support. Our ideal Senior Installation Engineer will have: City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., ECS, CSCS, SSSTS) Competencies Technically astute with a proactive and solution-focused mindset. Strong interpersonal and communication skills confident engaging with customers and internal teams. Capable of working independently and under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Reliable, flexible, and committed to continuous improvement. The ability to instruct, raise non-compliance issues and identify and implement process enhancements. Essential Proven experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of access control, CCTV and security systems. Strong track record of field-based engineering in a customer-facing role. • Experience leading or mentoring engineering staff on site. Proficient in interpreting and working from electrical schematics and technical drawings. Good knowledge of Microsoft I.T systems. Desirable Experience in integrated systems (e.g., BMS, fire alarms, security networks). Working knowledge of structured cabling and IP networking.
