The Credit & Treasury Manager is responsible for managing credit analysis and treasury activities for all INEOS Automotive entities. The jobholder will need to communicate regularly with our transactional banks and internal stakeholders regarding credit and treasury activities. This includes recommending and monitoring internal credit limits, managing daily cash across multiple legal entities and currencies, supporting external working capital and trade finance facilities, and managing weekly cashflow forecasting. This role is part of the HQ Finance team and reports to the Head of Investor Relations.

Responsibilities:

Credit Management

  • Recommend credit limits for customers globally.
  • Liaise with credit insurers and INEOS Automotive commercial and legal teams to ensure optimal credit limits for each customer.
  • Continuously improve work processes related to credit management.

Day-to-Day Cash Management

  • Manage cash activities, ensuring adequate cash flow to operate smoothly across all locations, including cash pooling, payment approvals, bank charges, and FX risks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with transactional banks.

External Banking Facilities Support

  • Support inventory and receivables financing, trade finance facilities, including drawdowns, repayments, interest payments, reporting, audits, and controls.

Cash Forecasting

  • Lead weekly cash flow forecast process for INEOS Automotive.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field, plus an Accounting, Treasury, or Credit qualification, or qualified by experience.
  • Experience in an accounting firm, bank, or treasury function.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Proactive, driven, with good time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills; advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to present information clearly, both in writing and face-to-face.
