SEND Teaching Assistant (Full Time/Temporary)

Lincoln, Lincolnshire

£16,000 - £22,000 salary is depending on experience and or qualifications

Vision for Education is excited to be recruiting a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Lincoln. Starting in September 2025, this full-time, long-term position offers a fantastic opportunity to support students with a wide range of special educational needs (SEN), both inside and outside the classroom. The successful candidate must have a DBS on the updates service and be available to start the role on 4th September 2025, working from 8am-3pm, Monday-Friday.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that students with SEN have full access to the curriculum and can engage meaningfully with their learning. Your support will enable students to reach their full potential by helping them overcome academic and personal challenges, fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment for all.

Requirements
To be considered for the position of SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Have experience working with young people or supporting individuals with SEN
  • Be able to build positive relationships and show empathy and understanding
  • Be committed to promoting inclusion and raising the achievement of all learners
  • Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
