GSL Education are looking for adaptable and proactive Teaching Assistants to join our team for day-to-day cover roles in Doncaster. Key Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant (TA):

• Support pupils across key stages with their learning and engagement.
• Assist teachers in managing classroom behaviour and resources.
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with varying needs.
• Adapt quickly to new environments and follow school routines.
• Promote an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable.
• A flexible and reliable approach to work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
• Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
