Essential Requirements: Proven experience in a similar role in a professional kitchen (minimum 2-3 years preferred) Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards (HACCP procedures, allergen control, temperature logs, etc.) Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one) Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation Ability to manage a specific section efficiently Desirable: Formal culinary qualification (NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent). Experience in a high-volume or fine dining kitchen (depending on your business). Knowledge of allergen handling and dietary requirements. Passion for food and ongoing learning.
