Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for their long-standing, well-established client in West Bromwich. The role of an Accounts Assistant will be to support the existing finance team, busy fast passed role.
Duties and Tasks of an Accounts Assistant:
Bank reconciliation
Account reconciliation
Purchase ledger
Calculating commissions
Sales ledger (Raising invoices, processing payments)
Credit control
Bank payments
Processing refunds
Intercompany reconciliation
Submit pension data
Assisting with month end closing
Assisting with annual audit
Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
Details of an Accounts Assistant:
Salary: up to 30k depending on experience
Competitive holidays
Hours: 8.00am to 17.00pm Monday to Friday
Parking
Requirement / Skills of an Accounts Assistant:
Experience in a similar finance position
Experience with Sage 200 is advantageous but not mandatory
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Have a strong focus and drive, with the ability to work under your own initiative
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications for generating reports and analysing data.
