Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Production/Site Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working on the assembly lines and will also be required to assist our install team out onsite where busy periods occur.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating production machinery and equipment to manufacture products.
Assembling lighting components/harnesses and ensuring products meet quality standards.
Conducting quality checks and inspections during the production process.
Packing and labelling finished products for distribution.
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
Collaborating with team members to ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
Reporting any issues or defects with production materials or machinery to the supervisor.
Installation of fibre optic & LED lighting systems
Maintenance / Servicing of existing lighting systems
On-site fault finding and repairs
Dealing with customer care issues
Completion of project sign off documentation
Travelling with overnight stays as and when required
Compliance with health and safety policies and legislation
Requirements:
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally within the lighting or electrical industry (desirable but not essential).
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
Strong communication and team-working skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
Full driving licence
Be able to undertake basic trade skills using hand and power tools
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Experience in working with assembly tools and machinery.
Knowledge of electrical components and basic wiring.
Familiarity with lighting products and their components.
Ability to read technical drawings and instructions.
