The role will involve frequent travelling, so a clean UK driving licence is essential. Collaborate with the survey team to maintain technical standards and support project deliverables. Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Stay up-to-date with mechanical, electrical, civils, and railway standards and legislation. Prepare and deliver survey schedules within tight deadlines, ensuring accuracy and quality. Support health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance, as well as assist with audits and other company requirements. Key Requirements: Full UK driving licence (essential). Experience with 3D Laser Scanning / Point Cloud Processing (preferable). Valid PTS certification. Ability to obtain and maintain CSCS certification. Cat & Genny Operator certification (preferable). PASMA User certification (preferable). IPAF User certification (preferable). Knowledge and experience using AutoCAD to produce survey drawings and schematics (beneficial). Electrical qualification (beneficial). Comfortable with frequent travel and working outdoors in varying conditions. Basic understanding of surveying principles; experience with total stations, GPS, or other survey instruments is desirable. Eagerness to learn and develop within the role - training will be provided. Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We are currently looking for an IPAF 3b operator for a site in the Bath area to start on Friday for 4-5 weeks. Work will be with a small crew, the operator will be operating a mobile platform that will be fixed to a pontoon to assist with a bridge demolition. CSCS is also required, day rate is based on a 48 hour week and expenses will be available for ops from out of the area - any O/T will be paid at time and a half. The job is day work and it involves operating a machine on-site for a clients while they complete the tasks they need to complete.
