PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential: Proven experience in a similar role within the construction/joinery/fit-out sector. Strong background in fast-paced environments. Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel. Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to build strong relationships. Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills. Experience managing contractual issues on standard forms of contract (e.g., JCT). In-depth knowledge of contract documents, construction practices, and techniques. Full driving licence and access to a vehicle. Desirable: Third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline. Experience in PQQ, bid, and tender submissions. Experience of e-tendering. Additional Information: Project values range from 100k to over 40m, with the majority around 10m+. Most of our work involves high-quality hotel fit-outs, which can include extensions, new builds, cut-and-carve schemes, and refurbishments. Works often cover front-of-house areas, back-of-house facilities, spas, bedrooms, and more.
