Job Description

We are working with an established legal firm with a reputation for delivering outstanding client service and practical, innovative solutions. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Administrator to provide essential administrative support to our clients legal team.

This is a varied role that will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Conveyancy experience would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
  • Maintain and update case management systems and legal records.
  • Organise meetings, manage calendars, and arrange travel when required.
  • Assist with court filings, document bundles, and compliance checks.
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and post, ensuring efficient communication flow.
  • Perform general office administration, including general conveyancy work

About You:

  • Previous administrative experience (legal sector experience desirable preferably 6 months +)
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent spelling, grammar, and document formatting skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Discreet, professional, and able to handle confidential information.
