Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Trainee (StR) Lower in Forensic Psychiatry for our NHS client's team based in Fareham, Hampshire. This short-term locum position is available immediately.

Responsibilities:

1. Participate actively on the ward, including daily handovers, ward rounds, care program approach meetings, and governance meetings.
2. Assess new referrals, provide evidence at tribunals, and prepare reports.
3. Manage duties related to the three forensic beds on Mulberry Ward.
4. Opportunity to engage in outpatient work within the community forensic service.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full GMC license to practice.
• Proven relevant experience in forensic psychiatry.
