Salary: Up to £52,000

Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Our client is looking for a talented and efficient Panel Beater / Panel Technician with a valid ATA or NVQ equivalent to join their leading team. You will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications in a state-of-the-art bodyshop, using modern tools and equipment.

Responsibilities for Panel Beater / Panel Technician:

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
• Follow correct repair techniques and meet factory specifications and customer expectations
• Remove damaged panels and parts, repairing or replacing as needed
• Use welding equipment, hand tools and power tools to reshape and refit panels
• Smooth out dents and small imperfections using fillers and sanders
• Align body parts accurately and ensure proper fit
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently and on schedule
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Stay up to date with the latest industry repair techniques

Skills and Qualifications for Panel Beater / Panel Technician:

• You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a Panel Beater and gained a technical qualification such as NVQ, VCQ, SVQ or ATA
• You must have previous experience in a busy bodyshop and demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within a team
• You will have a strong knowledge of vehicle repair techniques for both heavy and minor crash damage
• A proactive mindset and the motivation to earn bonus hours are essential
