The Data Insights Analyst is responsible for enhancing the quality and usability of customer data, providing industry-level insights, and supporting retention initiatives. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure data-driven decision-making and strategic planning, ultimately contributing to the company's growth and customer satisfaction.

Your core responsibilities
- Ensure the quality and completeness of customer data by verifying and maintaining accurate business entity and contact information.
- Provide subject matter expertise throughout the delivery and configuration of Sales and Marketing modules.
- Identify and analyse customer churn in terms of both volume and value.
- Provide data and insights to retention initiatives, specifically focusing on early-life churn drivers and in-year customer health checks.
- Provide insights into waste mix variations and seasonal demand to inform marketing strategies and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Pricing to align strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct year-on-year same-store analysis of SME customers to identify performance drivers. Communicate findings through data-driven insights reports.
- Analyse customer sensitivity to pricing and service issues to inform future pricing strategies and reduce churn risk.

Our essential requirements
- Advanced Excel and confident with Power BI user and report developer
- Able to manipulate data and produce new BI reports and data flows within agreed parameters
- Experience producing and presenting complex data analysis to a non-technical audience using PowerPoint story telling techniques.
- Able to influence others to complete actions identified as part of commercial briefs and effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders
