As a key figure within our Adviser Academy, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing, mentoring, and driving the performance of our new generation of Advisers-ensuring they deliver high-quality, compliant financial advice while fostering long-lasting client relationships.
We are recruiting two Academy Development Leads, one to support our Northern Region and one to support our Southern Region.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and inspire a team of trainee Advisers, helping them transition to competent, confident professionals.
- Be the go-to mentor and supervisor, offering practical guidance, feedback, and performance support on their journey to CAS (Competent Adviser Status) and beyond.
- Collaborate closely with Field Leadership, Sales Operations, and Training teams to deliver on both individual and organisational goals.
- Foster a culture of expertise through learning, development, and excellence, placing personal and professional growth at the heart of everything you do.
- Ensure all Advisers operate within regulatory and compliance frameworks, always prioritising the best outcomes for our clients.
- Champion Ascot Lloyd's values and client-first ethos, both internally and externally.
What You'll Bring
- A minimum of QCF Level 4 qualification (e.g., Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning) - Chartered or working towards Chartered status preferred.
- Proven experience in financial planning with a strong grasp of industry and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding commercial targets in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of training & competency schemes, compliance, and back-office systems.
- Natural leadership skills with a passion for coaching and people development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - you can build trust, explain complex ideas clearly, and motivate others to succeed.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to analyse KPIs, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
