Our client has an exciting new opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a major Data Centre project based in Co. Kildare.

As part of their ongoing growth across Ireland, the UK, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden, they are now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to help drive commercial success and ensure best-in-class delivery on a high-value project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of commercial and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle

  • Liaising with the client s commercial and contract teams

  • Managing procurement processes, including subcontractor packages

  • Conducting cost and risk analysis

  • Reviewing critical incoming correspondence and initiating appropriate contractual responses

  • Overseeing the commercial performance of subcontractors

  • Producing accurate cost, margin, and cash flow reports

  • Managing project change order procedures and negotiating costs

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Degree-qualified in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying

  • Experience working in Mechanical or Electrical Quantity Surveying roles

  • Data Centre experience desirable but not essential

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced electrical/mechanical project environment

  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • A team player who enjoys contributing to high-performing project teams
