Department Overview The Evidence Product Management team owns the roadmap for delivering Motorola Solutions' body cameras, vehicle cameras, and evidence management software. Job Description We want an enthusiastic associate product manager to own one of our evidence device products. They will: Work to understand the product requirements of the market and enable their delivery, including the competition. Engage with the other product managers, business, and stakeholders to enable the delivery of the product vision and roadmap in a business-value-oriented manner. Make timely and decisive decisions regarding product development priorities for their attached team(s), including balancing support product backlog items, technical debt, and new features. Work alongside and with the product owner and development teams to assist in the creation of well-maintained, refined, prioritized product backlogs that include consistent and measurable "definitions of done." Define product release plans, including measuring their progress towards completion and tracking the predictability. Manage the prioritization of market expansion or establishment, including coordination with marketing, sales, training, support, and partners, as well as identifying translations and territorial approval requirements. Assist with specific large-opportunity projects. Persuade and influence others through strong communication. Develop and demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise. Basic Requirements Please note this role is hybrid and will require the successful candidate to be in the Edinburgh office twice a week. BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Product Management. Knowledge of device (hardware, Software, Firmware) development and solutions development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and communicate the product roadmap & vision to the development team, refine product backlog items, and report progress to a broad audience, including the business, product management stakeholders, and the development teams. English language skills at a level allowing efficient and effective communication. Self-motivated, positive attitude, an ability and desire to motivate others.
