About the Role:
one of my local goverment clients is seeking a highly skilled Strategic HR Consultant to lead and support critical people-focused initiatives across the organisation. This is a short-term contract ideal for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in public sector strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement workforce strategy aligned to organisational goals
Advise senior leaders on change management, workforce planning, and talent development
Develop HR frameworks that support operational effectiveness and employee engagement
Analyse workforce data to inform strategic decisions
Collaborate across departments to deliver impactful, sustainable HR solutions
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience working at a strategic HR level in a local authority, central government, or NHS setting
Strong understanding of public sector workforce challenges and legislation
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
CIPD qualified or equivalent (preferred)
