Kitchen Porter - Dorking

We are recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join a prestigious independent school based in Dorking, you will be working term time only for a leading Contract Catering company within the Education Sector of the Catering Industry.

Key Information:

Salary: 12.21 per hour

Hours: Mon - Fri, Term time only. 37.5 hours per week

Location: Dorking

Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

Provide a friendly catering service, performing a variety of manual tasks associated with food production and service in the school

Helping chef to cut and prepare food

Help with preparation of food items and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen

Work alongside the kitchen team

Required skills include:

A basic understanding of produce and ingredients

Embrace new ideas and processes

Positive and approachable manner

In order to be successful, you'll need to have:

Experience working in a similar environment / role

Ability to follow instructions
