On behalf of a well-established and highly respected manufacturer based in Maidenhead, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead a team within a high-performing production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader with a strong background in operations, team management, and continuous improvement.

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations developing production plans, managing inventory, maintaining SHE standards, and delivering against key operational targets. You'll work closely with senior leadership to drive productivity, ensure quality output, and create a safe, efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities for the Production Manager Include:

• Developing and executing production plans to achieve on-time delivery (OTD) and reduce arrears
• Leading and motivating the team through clear communication, planning, and performance reviews
• Collaborating with leadership and support functions to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks
• Managing paint and consumables inventory, equipment maintenance, and future capacity planning
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to support wider business goals
• Upholding SHE standards and ensuring a safe and compliant working environment
• Supporting quality assurance through first-time pass (FPY) performance and adherence to quality standards

Our client is seeking a Production Manager with:

• Previous experience in a management role within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Excellent planning, reporting, and time management abilities
• A proactive mindset with a focus on performance, quality, and safety
• Clear, confident communicationboth written and verbal
• An understanding of SHE principles and compliance
