Welder
Welder Salary: £16.49 to start moving to £18.96 in 3x months
Welder Location: Northampton
Shifts:
Candidate to start on days until they have gained their coding s (usually takes 3x months). Will move onto night shifts once this has completed.
Day shift: Monday Thursday 7am 4:15pm Friday 7am 12pm
Night shift: Monday Thursday 3:30 midnight Friday 1:30 8pm

Orion are partnered with a precision engineering business located in Northampton who are recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Welder to join the team.
Company will put the successful candidate through codings. All applicants MUST have strong TIG welding experience in a high precision environment.
Welder Responsibilities
- Operating a semi-automatic welding machine
- Following engineering drawings
- TIG welding to high spec
- Working with Stainless, duplex & super duplex
- Welding with exotic materials to a high precision standard
- Working 3mm 5mm gauges
- Working on low volume bespoke products
Welder Experience:
- Proven experience working with stainless, duplex & super duplex
- TIG & Mig welding experience on stainless
- Pipe welding
- Bespoke low volume welding
- Operating semi automatic welding machinery
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail
