Job Title: CNC Operator (Turning - FANUC)
Location: Leeds
Hours: 6am - 2pm Mon - Fri 37.5 per week
Salary: £16.00-£16.50 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
Start Date: Preferably September

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Leeds. This role is ideally suited for a CNC Operator with a strong background in turning operations, particularly using FANUC-controlled lathes. The position involves the production of precision-turned hubs critical to high-performance mechanical systems. A structured handover and training period will be available from the current operator until December, offering valuable support and continuity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, set, and program CNC lathes with FANUC controls
- Manufacture high-precision components (primarily hubs) to exacting specifications
- Conduct in-process and final quality checks to ensure tolerance compliance
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work independently to tight tolerances
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience
- Proficiency in programming FANUC-controlled lathes preferred (not just setting/operating)
- Previous experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of turning operations and quality control procedures
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude
