Classroom Supervisor - Secondary An excellent Secondary School in the heart of Islington is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Classroom Supervisor to join their team in September 2025. This is a full-time, term-time only post that begins via agency contract with the potential to transition into a permanent position. JOB DESCRIPTION Classroom Supervisor - Secondary Deliver lessons in the absence of teaching staff across KS3, KS4 or KS5 Support pupils in accessing and engaging with set work, providing guidance with literacy, numeracy, and organisation as needed Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil behaviour, engagement and lesson outcomes Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only Daily Rate: £120 - £135 per day Location: Borough of IslingtonPERSON SPECIFICATION Solid understanding of the Secondary curriculum Prior classroom experience is essential Degree-qualified with a strong academic background Energetic, creative and passionate about working with young people A good grasp of teaching standards Committed, proactive and eager to develop within an educational settingSCHOOL DETAILS Ofsted rated 'Good' Large, diverse and inclusive mixed Secondary School Excellent leadership team, led by an inspiring Executive Headteacher Culture of collaboration and staff well-being Ongoing CPD and clear career development pathways Based in the Borough of IslingtonIf you are interested in the Classroom Supervisor - Secondary role, school visits can be arranged promptly.
