Job Description:
We are looking for experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers for ongoing work based out of St Helens. This role involves nights out Monday to Friday, delivering a mix of general haulage, palletised, and/or curtain-sider loads across the UK.
You will be driving modern, well-maintained vehicles and supported by a professional transport team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tramping nationwide Monday to Friday
- Daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Accurate completion of paperwork and PODs
- Following scheduled routes and time slots
- Maintaining communication with the traffic office
- Ensuring load safety and security at all times
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Digi Tacho and CPC Card
- Minimum 6 months HGV1 experience preferred
- Previous tramping experience an advantage
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN codes)
- Ability to work independently and manage own time effectively
