Job Description
A well-established food manufacturer on the outskirts of Sudbury is expanding its team and looking for practical, hands-on Production Operatives. This role is ideal for candidates from a food production background, but training can be provided for the right person.
This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with an immediate start and long-term prospects for the right candidate.
Production Operative Duties:
- Operating food production machinery and equipment
- Carrying out quality checks and completing basic paperwork (paper and digital)
- Assisting across production, warehousing, and goods-in departments
- Moving stock and finished goods around the site
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety standards
- Supporting the team with a flexible, hands-on approach
Pay & Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekly shifts: 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00
- 12.21+ p/hour, depending on experience
- Overtime available
- Weekly pay
- Holiday allowance
- Temporary-to-permanent opportunity
