JOB DESCRIPTION: CNC Programmer - 5 Axis, Setter, Turning, Milling As an experienced CNC Programmer & Setter, we will give you the responsibility for two of our WFL Machines where you'll play a pivotal role in the function of our workshop where we manufacture our multi throw crankshafts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be: Take full control of two of our WFL machines MillTurns (5 axis) working at low volume (batches up to 20) to a high quality. A variety of turning, milling, drilling, boring and V/cuts Visual and manual inspection as part of our 12-step quality process Program to highly detailed drawings using Siemens (Sinumerik) software. Work to a tight tolerance i.e. +/- 0.005" - 0.001". Your background: CNC Programmer - 5 Axis, Setter, Turning, Milling You're an experienced CNC Setter and Programmer who takes pride in your work. You know what great looks like and enjoy working a low volume environment. You will: Be apprentice trained NVQ / C&G / ONC / HNC in mechanical engineering or maybe you have been down the degree route Have online and offline programming experience covering Siemens / Fanuc and other CADCAM Software such as Infusion 360 or SolidWorks etc Have experience working on 5 axis CNC machines.
