This role bridges the gap between design intent and construction execution, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a permanent position based at our Cardiff office. The successful candidate will be responsible to the Directors and will assist and report to the Contracts Manager for each related site. The role will require a close working relationship with the Project design team acting as a medium to our contracts management team on a day-to-day basis. Have a leading role in winning and delivering work associated with local and central government operations. Promote IMST and wider AtkinsRéalis externally. Support the IMST Practice Director and SLT in delivering the performance targets for the wider practice. Provide technical leadership, ensuring that our IMST team deploys and continually develops the best technical and management solutions for our clients, and that we strive for and promote technical excellence. Act as Project Director or Technical Reviewer on strategically important commissions. Steer work winning and delivery to align the practice to client accounts identified in the Transportation business plan, developing the specific growth plan. Engage and support clients and stakeholders to raise our profile and drive growth. Mentor and support colleagues to increase resilience and promote development of our people. Demonstrate strong knowledge of local transport technology sector covering intelligent mobility, intelligent transport systems and/or public transport.
