WHAT TO EXPECT The Audio Group is a key part of the Infotainment function within our Digital Product Platform, and focuses on concept, development, integration and test of the latest audio & active noise control solutions across the whole Jaguar Land Rover product range. As an Audio Engineering Scrum Master, your time will be split roughly 50/ 50 between traditional Scrum Master responsibilities for the squad and delivering value in a project engineering capacity. As a Scrum Master, your focus will be primarily on helping the squad to deliver to their commitments, identifying and resolving any impediments to progress and helping to build a cohesive high performing team. As a lead project engineer you would be responsible for delivering integrated sub systems elements, which may be physical components, a set of related components or software into vehicle programmes. Responsibilities include ensuring the content is properly specified, the suppliers deliver against specifications, and that the delivered system or component is fully verified for inclusion on a vehicle program meeting the programme requirements for quality, cost and time. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Scrum Master ( 50% time) Coaching team members in self-management and cross-functionality. Helping the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done. Removal of impediments to the Scrum Team's progress. Create alignment across squads through Scrum of Scrums and ad hoc engagements. Facilitate Agile / Scrum ceremonies including stand ups, retrospectives, showcases and sprint planning. Support the planning, co-ordination, delivery and reporting of requirements to support the Cycle Plan programmes and Cycle Plan studies, using Product Creation Delivery System (PCDS) principles in conjunction with other company processes as required Manage Change Request, expenditure forecasting and the relevant supplier teams in support of delivery of the programme milestones. Manage test plans, including detailed planning of test and development stages through to sign off and support Engineering test teams with rectification of issues. Contribute to the negotiation and agreement of targets for the modules and ensure all programme deliverables are tracked, monitored, delivered and reported accurately and on time at each gateway and organise and lead appropriate interim review events. Manage and develop external communications and status reporting, providing a coherent status for relevant stakeholders including senior management. Ensure all appropriate JLR standards are met through-out design maturation Provide input into new feature development Ensure all programme design solutions meet: Attribute targets and functional / non-functional requirements.
